Founded in 1987 George Stuart is one of the UK's leading belt manufacturers, supplying numerous high street brands. New owners took over in 2007 and were keen to put their own stamp on the business, whilst maintaining a link with the past and the outstanding reputation they have established within their industry.
Hill Langdell was invited to review their existing branding and to make design suggestions on a new direction for their corporate identity. After an extensive scoping exercise Hill Langdell presented George Stuart with a selection of design concepts for the branding of the business.
Hill Langdell and George Stuart made the decision that the new identity should reflect and tie into the old branding. With this in mind we proceeded to develop a final design concept into a full range of tools for George Stuart to use. Hill Langdell continue to manage the George Stuart brand and have applied it to a new company website, stationery, exhibitions both in the UK and abroad and an array of marketing literature. To ensure the brand is fully supported, we also provide George Stuart with a studio and on-site photography service.
More recently we have worked closely with George Stuart to design and produce a comprehensive new website that allows high-end independent retailers to buy products direct from George Stuart using a fully automated e-commerce system. A sophisticated Content Management System was created that allows George Stuart to fully manage all website content and customer accounts in-house.
